Hot Dog on
a Stick

Art Direction | Photography | Design

Hot Dog on a Stick approached MGH with the request that we reignite the spark for their quintessential  “California cool” boardwalk food stand.

We started with the basics. Where did we see their brand going? Who did we want them to be?

We wanted to attract 18 to 22-year-olds. Wanna-be influencers. Foodies. Cool kids. The ones who we could count on to snap a picture of the product and let their followers do the leg work. And I had just the vision for how to get

them there.

Fast forward a week or so and I was told the budgets were approved and our vision was going to come to life so long as I could direct it to make it happen.

A few things were agreed upon ahead of time. I wanted a mix of trendy instagram filters, some solo product shots, influencers, inspirational quotes and lens flares.

And blue sky. Lots of blue sky.

When it was all said and done. Hot Dog on a Stick’s Instagram following exploded. We succeeded and took their 2k following and turned it into 15K.
